Vi kjører videochat live og usensurert på storskjerm hele kvelden, og koser oss med å møte hundrevis av intetanende «gjester» – og ikke minst deres reaksjon på å møte oss.

Best Norwegian Web Design of 2009

The Norwegian magazine Webdesignmagasinet announced Paranaiv as best Norwegian web design of 2009. Thanks to everybody who voted, and happy new year!

Welcome to the 5th incarnation of Paranaiv.no - and also the 5 year anniversary of Paranaiv. This last redesign has mostly been about the details in the design, better site performance and of course the new logo which I am really pleased with. Hope you like it, and that you keep following my site for (at least) 5 more years.

A couple of honours

Awards-season is coming to an end, and a few hounours were given me whis year:
Silver in Visuelt - Graphic Design, Student category for the Gullkalven 2008 identity
Merit in The One Show for Flytoget Scrollbar
Certificate from Gulltaggen, also for Flytoget.

Please check the credits on the two project - they aren't done by me alone! :)

The Web Design Sketchbook now released for sale!

I'm glad to announce that the Norwegian design store, Hunting Lodge, are now selling the Web Design sketchbook. Their online store is currently down, but if you send them an e-mail I'm sure they'll help you out. I will also be selling the book from my own upcoming Merchline store, but it might take a few weeks before that is up and running.

The book contains 60 pages. 45 with normal browser windows and 15 of web ad formats.
I often use it in client meetings for sketching and mock-ups and the clients love it.

Barbie of the Undead Revisited

I've made a few adjustments to my little braindead friend. The most important thing being the new base. Wasn't too happy with the old one, and made a little more effort this time. I even made a nice litte baseball bat accessory! Now I only need to make some nice packaging!

Behind Barbie of the Undead

The skull and the base is made of Super Sculpey, and it's all painted with acrylics.

I was given 4 awards at this years Gullkalven, the Norwegian student award show for creative communication.
Bronze in the category Art Direction for the Gullkalven 08 profile,
Bronze in the category Commercial Text for an advert I made at school with some friends,
Silver in the Poster category for the Gullkalven Teaser Poster,
and last but not least; Gold in the Packaging Design category for the Single Engine CD cover.
Hooray!
